Fran Supek, PhD, is a Group Leader at IRB Barcelona and a Professor at BRIC, University of Copenhagen

Speaker:

Fran Supek
Fran's research interests are in large part focused on understanding local mutation rate heterogeneity across the human genome using cancer genomic data analyses. The Supek lab studies the underlying causes of this variation in local mutation risk, in particular differential DNA repair and how this relates to chromatin organization and how it varies between individuals.
