Faculty Members Carl Pieper And Jane Pendergast Play Lead Roles In National Institute Aging Grant

Duke investigators successfully competed for a 5-year renewal of the highly prestigious National Institute on Aging P30, $5.4 million, Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center.  The Duke Pepper Center, based in the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development, consists of a Leadership and Administration Core, a Research Education Component, a Pilot and Exploratory Studies Core and three Resource Cores: Molecular Measures Core, Physical Measures Core and Analysis Core.

The Analysis Core is led by Biostatistics and Bioinformatics faculty members Carl Pieper, DrPH and Jane Pendergast, PhD and provides expertise for all the data functions of this large P30.   Click here to read more about this grant.
