
Steven Grambow, PhD, associate professor of biostatistics, director of the Clinical Research Training Program, and co-director of the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute Workforce Development Pillar, was awarded the Duke School of Medicine Excellence in Professionalism Award on May 19.
This award honors faculty who exemplify ethical behavior and professionalism, reflecting Duke’s core values of respect, trustworthiness, diversity, teamwork, and learning.
The selection process involves a committee that identifies recipients based on their demonstration of exemplary professional behaviors, such as being courteous, respectful, empathetic, and altruistic.
His nominators wrote, “Dr. Grambow leads with integrity, listens with empathy, and teaches with purpose. His presence elevates every team he is a part of, and his commitment to excellence inspires those around him to strive for their best — both professionally and personally.”
