Congratulations to 10 students in the Master of Health Science in Clinical Research program who graduated on Sunday, May 11, 2025. They were among 442 students from the Duke University School of Medicine who graduated, marking the successful culmination of their hard work and dedication.

Duke CTSI Director and CRTP alum Susanna Naggie, MD, MHS, FIDSA, has been named the Catherine Wilfert Distinguished Professor of Medicine. Naggie is among 17 faculty members at Duke University School of Medicine who have been awarded distinguished professorships.

Karen Goldstein, MD, in the Department of Medicine (DOM), has co-authored a significant systematic review titled “Impact of Genomic Classifiers on Risk Stratification and Treatment Intensity in Patients With Localized Prostate Cancer: A Systematic Review,” published in Annals of Internal Medicine. Recognized as one of the most influential journals in medicine, Annals is the most cited general internal medicine journal globally, with a 2023 impact factor of 19.6.

Dr. Jamie L. Todd, associate professor in the Division Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, is the recipient of the 2025 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Mitch Greenberg Memorial Award in Lung Transplantation.

Leonor Corsino, a 2009 CRTP graduate, was appointed to the Endocrine Society Board of Directors. She is an Associate Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine.

CRTP Student Danielle Mebuge, MD, is one of Five Duke University School of Medicine faculty members who were selected to receive 2025 Physician-Scientist “Strong Start” awards. The awards program, funded with a gift from the Nanaline H. Duke Fund, supports promising, early-career physician-scientists at Duke as they develop independent research programs.
