Speaker:

Jason Yang
Dr. Jason H. Yang is an Assistant Professor and Chancellor Scholar in the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Center for Emerging Pathogens and Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics. He leads a systems and synthetic biology research program focused on basic and translational research into antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, and immune cell therapies. Projects in the Yang lab combine the use of mathematical models, machine learning, and bioinformatic approaches with quantitative and high-throughput experimental techniques to study and engineer the processes underlying microbial and mammalian cell fates.
