B&B Faculty, Staff And CRTP Student Contribute To Poster Awarded At The American Academy Of Dermatology Annual Meeting

A poster presentation by a team of Duke Researchers won third place in the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting on March 1-5, 2019 in Washington, DC.  The poster, Hidradenitis Suppurativa is Associated with Increased Odds of Stroke, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart  Failure, and PAD: A Population‐Based Analysis in the United States was authored by Medical Students Rachael Ward, BS, MPH, and Rayan Kaakati, BS, Dermatology Faculty and 2019 CRTP Graduate Tarannum Jaleel, BS, MD, BERD Methods Core Beiyu Liu, MS, PhD, and B&B Faculty Cindy Green,  PhD.  The work was a result of a collaboration between Dermatology and the BERD Core. 

Award Nominees are selected and judged from a pool of the highest scoring abstracts submitted for poster presentation.
