Jessica Tenenbaum, PhD , associate professor of biostatistics and bioinformatics, and Nan Liu, PhD , adjunct associate professor in biostatistics and bioinformatics, have been elected to the 2026 class of Fellows of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA).
Election recognizes members who apply informatics skills and knowledge within their professional setting, who have demonstrated professional achievement and leadership, and who have a sustained commitment to the betterment of AMIA.
A committee of 84 reviewers selected the 127 Fellows who will join a distinguished community of 647 current FAMIA members.
A formal induction ceremony will be held on May 20, 2026 during the AMIA 2026 Amplify Informatics Conference, May 18-21 in Denver, Colorado.
