Welcome Class Of 2020

It may still feel like summer with the heat and humidity but with all the new faces it’s clear that a new school year has begun. The 2020 Master of Biostatics class includes 28 students representing 25 undergraduate colleges and universities, 3 countries and 14 different States.  With over 300 applicants, this will be our most competitive class to date. While our students have backgrounds in math, natural and health sciences, engineering and creative writing in their previous lives they also have been: a journalist in Pakistan; a professional swimmer; a certified Yoga instructor; a PADI Dive Master; a professional Badminton player; and one student served in the Korean military. They are a very diverse group!
