Zada Tiimod, a second-year master of biostatistics student, has been selected as a recipient of a travel award to attend the Spring 2026 meeting of the Council for New and Emerging Statisticians (CENS) at Eastern North American Region (ENAR). The award, from CENS and the American Statistical Association Biopharmaceutical Section, highlights her growing leadership in the statistical community and her academic and leadership achievements.
CENS, established in 2012 to support students and recent graduates, ensures that emerging statisticians have a voice within the region. The CENS mission emphasizes advocating for the needs of earlycareer members and fostering stronger connections within the statistical community.
Tiimod was among three distinguished young statisticians selected for the award this year.
