Can Electronic Health Records Reveal Early Signs of Autism?

Duke researchers, including Ben Goldstein, PhD, are collaborating on a new project that uses machine learning to recognize patterns in electronic health record data associated with children who are later diagnosed with autism.

Barber Appointed to National Leadership Role

CRTP alum Matthew D. Barber, MD, MHS, has been appointed as an at-large member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board, marking his return after previously serving from 2021 to 2024 as a subspecialty division chair and a board member. Barber has also served as an ob/gyn certifying examiner since 2013 and a urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery certifying examiner since 2016. He is also a member of ABOG’s Certifying Exam Development Committee.

Steven Grambow Receives Duke School of Medicine Excellence in Professionalism Award

Steven Grambow, PhD, associate professor of biostatistics, director of the Clinical Research Training Program, and co-director of the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute Workforce Development Pillar, was awarded the Duke School of Medicine Excellence in Professionalism Award on May 19. This award honors faculty who exemplify professionalism and personify Duke’s values.

Camille Frazier-Mills Wins Humanism Award

Clinical Research Training Program alum Camille Frazier-Mills, MD, MHS, professor of medicine, received the Duke University School of Medicine's Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award in May.

Graduate Spotlight: Yetunde (Bernice) Omotosho, MD
