On April 22, 2025, Jonathan Hui will be honored with the Forever Duke Student Leadership Award. Nominees are submitted based on their work improving the “student experience, providing supplemental instruction on popular topics, fostering community, and engaging our alumni.”
The award was founded in 2016. Faculty and staff nominate graduating students each year for the award based on their leadership impact on the Duke community. Graduating students are of high integrity who have done great things not only at Duke, but for Duke, and exhibit qualities worthy of the award:
They are strong advocates for the Duke community
They embody Duke’s guiding principle of “knowledge in the service of society”
They are leaving Duke a better place than they found it
