Master of Biostatistics Program Tuition and Fees

Students are responsible for tuition, fees, and living expenses while enrolled in the Master of Biostatistics Program. Financial assistance may include:

  • Program scholarships
  • Paid assistantships
  • Federal financial aid packages

No separate application is required for departmental scholarships—your completed program application automatically serves as your scholarship application.

Duke employees may be eligible for the university’s Employee Tuition Assistance Program.

  • $21,096 per semester for full-time study (9 credits or more)
  • All admitted students are automatically considered for partial tuition scholarships

Scholarships

All accepted applicants for full-time study in the Master of Biostatistics Program are automatically considered for limited tuition scholarships on a competitive basis.

Assistantships

Assistantships may become available during the program.

  • Positions are competitive and not guaranteed

Federal Financial Aid

Qualified U.S. students may be eligible for Unsubsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loans and Federal Direct PLUS Loans (up to the cost of education). Both loans have fixed interest rates

The School of Medicine does not receive funding for work-study programs so students are ineligible for university work-study.
