Student Spotlights

Jiahe Tian is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. She is from Shandong Province, China. Tian earned her undergraduate degree from Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, China, where she majored in financial mathematics. 

Justin Liu is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. He is from Suzhou, China and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Genetics from the University of California, Irvine.

Ryan Butcher is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. He is from Madison, West Virginia. Butcher earned his undergraduate degree from Marshall University, where he majored in statistics. 

Catherine Gervais is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatics program. She is from Lowell, Massachusetts, about 30 minutes north of Boston. Gervais earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where she majored in statistics and biology and minored in political science. 

Molly Ehrig is entering her second and final year as a Master of Biostatistics student. She is from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2022 where she majored in biology and minored in statistics. Ehrig recently interned at Wake Forest School of Medicine in the biostatistics department.
