Student Spotlights

Ziran Yin will graduate from Duke’s Master of Biostatistics program in May 2025. Her hometown is Chongqing, China. She completed an undergraduate degree in Canada at McMaster University, where she majored in Biochemistry.

Yongyin Chen is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. Her hometown is Guangdong, China. Yongyin completed her undergraduate study at Imperial College London. She earned her degree in Medicinal Chemistry.

Tong Cheng is in her second year of student in the Master of Biostatistics program. She is from Hefei, China. Tong earned her undergraduate degree with a double major in Mathematics and Psychology from Boston University.

Yueshan Liang is a second-year Master of Biostatistics student who will graduate in May 2025. Her hometown is Shenzhen, China. Yueshan attended undergrad at the University of California, San Diego where she graduated with a degree in Bioengineering.

Jiang Shu is a second-year Master of Biostatistics student. His hometown is Beijing, China. Jiang graduated from undergrad at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Chemistry.

Olivia Lambert will complete the two-year Master of Biostatistics degree program in May 2025. Her hometown is Macomb, Michigan. Olivia graduated from the University of Michigan with an undergraduate double major of Biology, Health & Society and Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience. She minored in Applied Statistics.

Xiaohui Jiang is currently a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. Her hometown is Shandong, China. Xiaohui graduated from Fudan University with a degree in Information and Computing Science.

Ena Agbodza is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. Her hometown is Jackson, New Jersey. Ena earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in psychology and minored in biology.

Jonathan Hui is a second-year student in the Master of Biostatistics program. His hometown is San Jose, California. Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. His degrees are in Statistics and Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior.

Ashley Howard is currently in her second year of study in the Master of Biostatistics program. Gibbstown, NJ, is her hometown. Ashley completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina, where she studied Statistics and Economics.
