Alyssa Platt Receives 2025 Dean's Excellence Staff Award
Alyssa Platt, a distinguished biostatistician, has made extraordinary contributions to the Duke Global Health Institute and the School of Medicine. Her leadership in advancing data practices, mentoring junior scientists, and fostering global research collaborations has set a new standard for excellence. As one nominator noted, “Alyssa embodies excellence in all that she does, and she sets an incredible example and mentor for our other staff members.”

Graduation 2025: Congratulations to B&B Graduates
Congratulations to 49 students in the Master of Biostatistics program, 32 students in the Master of Management in Clinical Informatics program, 10 students in the Master of Health Science in Clinical Research program, 8 students in the Biostatistics PhD program, and 15 students in the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics PhD program who graduated in May. They were among 442 students from the Duke University School of Medicine who graduated, marking the successful culmination of their hard work and dedication.
